Happy Memorial Day!

I went to the Salt Lake City Cemetery to take photos of my family's grave stones. I was amazed by how many of my relatives don't have a headstone at all! In particular, my great Grandfather and Grandmother, Frank Donald Farnes and Euphemia Grace Davis!

I hope that my family will come together soon and fix this.

Here are a couple of photos:

This is Susannah Isacke (Born 9 Jul 1797, died 14 Nov 1864), the oldest sister of my 3-Great Grandmother Ann Isacke. Susannah was married to John Shackleton (Born 1793).

This is one of the sons of my Great-Great Grandparents, Hyrum Davis and Euphemia Cousins Reekie. His name is Abraham Davis; the oldest child. He was a Railroad Engineer. Last Year, I went to where he used to live, the house is gone, and a new development is coming up in it's place. This headstone was completely buried under about 3 inches of sod and dirt when I found it.

William Morgan Richards and Florence Letty Jarvis are my Great-Great Grandparents.

Marjory Donna Farnes is my Grandmother. She died when my Dad was 11? years old. From what I have learned, she is a wonderful woman, and I look forward to meeting her someday. My dad was named after her middle name. She received her middle name after her father's name, Frank Donald Farnes.

These are the Headstones of my Great-Great Grandparents, Hyrum Davis and Euphemia Cousins Reekie. Hyrum died somewhat young, and Euphemia remarried twice. Her last husband was named John Firmage. Even so, she still made sure to be buried in the Davis family plot with the one man she was sealed to for eternity.
